Never seen without my laptop, phone or tablet (and usually spotted carrying all three), I often find I have no pockets left in my anorak for other essentials.

    2018 - 2019

    Field marketing manager for the UK team, focusing on the Industrial Machinery and Heavy Equipment industries. Responsible for marketing planning, demand creation, reputation, sales enablement and execution – working with both the direct and in-direct sales teams.

Scope of Work

My daily skills

Global Marketing Strategy & Campaign Creation

Responsibility for the design and development of demand creation, reputation and funnel progression campaigns, working with the regional marketing teams to execute. Accountability for objectives in relation to lead generation, conversion, opportunities and pipeline contribution. Responsibility for the alignment of global marketing campaigns with local sales goals and tracking of metrics to identify ROI. Ensuring campaign assets are aligned with the buyer’s journey and messaging is mapped against a set of identified personas.

Social Media

Responsible for creating social graphics, videos and messaging for the manufacturing industry for IFS, both for paid promotion and as part of the employee advocacy programme. Previously responsible for all of Preactor’s social media presence across multiple platforms, alongside developing substantial followings via my own personal social channels. Experienced using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Hootsuite, Oktopost and Spredfast.

Digital Marketing

15+ years of experience researching, planning and executing digital marketing strategies, implementing social media campaigns, PPC advertising, landing page optimisation, email marketing, IP address marketing and search strategy. Recently creating the first digital eBook campaign asset for IFS to enable performance measurement and automated nurture utilising Marketo.


Advocate of clear communication across different departments and teams as well as different business units of IFS. Proactively encouraging my colleagues to keep commuincation channels open and utilise the technology available to us to keep everyone up-to-date and well informed.

Content Marketing

Running a fashion blog for 10 years as well as developing content for Preactor, Siemens and IFS. Latest examples include a campaign hub page, our MindFuel thought leadership series and a recent LinkedIn article.

Web Design & Development

Experienced in various CMS systems including WordPress, Kentico, Joomla and Drupal alongside HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript. Designed and built the campaign pages on our SharePoint site, which set the standard used by every industry thereafter.

Desktop Publishing & Graphic Design

Competent across a range of desktop publishing tools and software including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc… Experienced using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, XD, Premiere and After Effects.

Event Organisation

Running various seminars and workshops within a Siemens field marketing role, previously responsible for Preactor’s annual Partner Meeting: organising the agenda, control of budget, managing the registration process, three full days of presentations, evening entertainment, transport and development of the event website.
